Surgical Stent-Graft Self-Expanding Endoprosthesis

The Self-Expanding Surgical Stent-Graft Endoprosthesis developed by Braile Biomédica is a set composed of a straight intraluminal stent-graft support prosthesis and a delivery catheter.

Straight intraluminal stent-graft support prostheses use a variation of the ZGianturco grid made of NITINOL and covered with polyester fabric. They are self-expanding prostheses with high radial resistance and are carefully compressed and inserted into 24 Fr PTFE (Teflon) catheters.

The catheter was specifically designed to allow the release of the prosthesis through insertion into the aorta via cardiothoracic surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB).
