CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY

Continuous, prosperous and beneficial sustainability for society is a priority. We adopt postures, behaviors and actions that promote the well-being of both our employees and the external public.

Compliance

With the aim of ensuring effective management and maintaining transparency, Braile is associated with the Instituto Ética Saúde, an independent, non-profit civil association that brings together companies and institutions with the proposal to create and follow, voluntarily, rules for the prevention of bribery and corruption in the health sector and must therefore effectively exercise all instructions contained in its regulations, especially regarding Compliance policies.

And as a way of expanding our commitment to transparency and ethics, Braile requests that reports should be registered on the Instituto Ética Saúde Reporting Channel.

IN PRACTICE

Social Responsibility

Braile always seeks to adopt attitudes, behaviors and actions that promote the well-being of its internal and external audiences.

BRAILINHO: A HERO IN THE FIGHT AGAINST CONGENITAL DISEASES

The launch of the “Brailinho” mascot by the company represents another important step in raising awareness and expanding knowledge about congenital heart diseases. This friendly heroic heart symbolizes the strength of those who have faced this condition since childhood, becoming a symbol of hope and resilience. The character’s presence in SUS and private hospitals highlights the commitment to supporting patients and their families during the treatment journey

100% HEART CAMPAIGN

Since 2015, Braile has promoted the 100% Heart Campaign, which aims to disseminate information about heart diseases and prevent them. This campaign is annually carried out in September, the month of the World Heart Day celebration (September 29).
During this period, the company promotes actions such as lectures, internal and external interventions and seeks to engage the population in preventing heart diseases.

LECTURES AND AWARENESS INTERVENTIONS

We believe that awareness is key to promoting safe and healthy work environments, as well as educating our employees and community about important health issues. That’s why, throughout the year, we strive to offer meaningful lectures and interventions.

Internally, we organize Occupational Accident Prevention Week, where we train our employees on the best safety and prevention practices. Externally, we actively participate in campaigns such as Red September, Pink October and Blue November, raising awareness about cardiovascular diseases, breast and prostate cancer, respectively.

Furthermore, we are proud to collaborate with the Pastoral da Pessoa Idosa in special meetings dedicated to education and awareness about the diseases that affect our elderly. We believe it is our duty to contribute to an informed and healthy community, which is why we continually invest in awareness initiatives.

Integrated Quality Policy

Braile seeks quality at its highest level, with a commitment to saving lives. We hold the following certifications: Certificate of Good Manufacturing Practices and Control of Health Products – ANVISA; Certificate of Registration – Quality Management System ISO 13485:2016 & EN ISO 13485:2016 – BSI; and Certificate of Conformity – Extracorporeal Circulation System – BRTÜV.
