ARTERIAL FEMORAL CANNULA AGILE With BRCoating®
Description: The Arterial Femoral Cannula Agile® with BRCoating® is a cannula made of PVC, stainless steel wire spring, PVC introducer which allows a 0.038' guide-wire to pass through, and a polycarbonate connector that allows the connection as an extracorporeal circulation circuit. The cannula is treated with the biocompatible coating called BRCoating®, consisting of recombinant human albumin, this solution covers the internal surface of the product, reducing the interaction between blood and the device. All components are made of medical-grade, non-toxic, biocompatible and pyrogenic materials.
Indication: The Arterial Femoral Cannula Agile® with BRCoating® is indicated for cannulation of common femoral artery in extracorporeal circulation circuits, in conventional surgeries, and ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) systems indicated for ECLS (extracorporeal life support) in patients with heart failure and/or respiratory failure.
