MINISTER OF HEALTH VISITS BRAILE BIOMÉDICA

On the afternoon of Monday, August 23, Braile Biomédica, the national health industry, had the honor of receiving the Minister of Health, Dr. Marcelo Queiroga and his team for a visit.

During the visit, the Minister toured the entire industry, production, laboratories and administrative areas, getting to know the innovations and great technology of the company, which is responsible for ensuring national products of very high technology and quality for the Brazilian population and approximately 52 countries abroad.

The presence of Dr. Marcelo at the company reinforced the importance of the State's strategic view of national health industries so that specific industrial policies for the sector are created and, in this way, make these companies increasingly independent, understanding that this is how the country grows, strengthens and develops, in addition to extinguishing the nation's risk of dependence on foreign technologies.

For Braile Biomédica, when there are investments, support and the union of industry and science, Brazilian industries, researchers and workers are capable of producing innovative technologies and solutions. “A country aware of what is relevant for its independence invests and encourages innovation and the high-tech industry is strategic”, says Patricia Braile, President of Braile Biomédica.

According to Patricia, this does not mean that we should be an isolated country. “No, not at all, but truly a sovereign country. A Nation cannot be totally dependent on the “good will” of other countries, a Nation needs to invest in itself and in its own competences and capacities”.

It's important to understand that you don't get very far alone. It is sharing that it multiplies, it is in the union of efforts that genius shines.
