HB uses ECMO in a SUS patient
The Hospital de Base de Rio Preto uses an artificial lung, Solis System by Braile Biomédica, to treat patients with Covid-19.
The 49-year-old man, a patient from the Unified Health System (SUS), is the first to undergo Ecmo (extracorporeal membrane) treatment at the Hospital.
