45th SBCCV
The 45th Brazilian Society Cardiovascular Surgery Congress happened in Goiânia, at the Convention Center, between April 18th and 21st.
The company’s participation was, for one more year, with a well-designed booth and with qualified professionals for presenting the company’s innovations and differentials to the participants. As always, Braile Biomédica’s booth was one of the most busy and visited.
Besides the booth, the company attended a side event, SBCEC Congress, headed by Renata Gabaldi (Technical Support Coordinator) and Vanusa Barros (Products Specialist). On this event, an Oxigenator Change Hands-on was performed.

On April 20th, Giovanni Braile Sternieri, the company’s founder (Prof. Dr. Domingo Braile) grandson, performed a presentation about “Mitral Valve” in Congress. Entitled “Transcatheter Valve ideal positioning and sizing for valve-in-valve implants in mitral position: an in vitro analysis”, from the authors Giovanni Braile Sternieri, Dr. José Honório Palma, Danilo Antônio da Silva, Vinicius Semenzim Ladeia, Glaucia Frazzato, Dra. Valéria Braile Sternieri, Sofia Braile and Dr. Domingo Braile, the Project received the 3rd place award in the “Best Free Topic” category.
