Inovare® in India
Another decisive moment at the forefront of cardiovascular technology in the world. The implantation of an Inovare® Transcatheter Valve in native mitral position (known as Valve in MAC) was successfully performed in India. This procedure is unprecedented in place and marks the beginning of a new approach adopted for minimally invasive treatments of valve diseases. The procedure was complex, considering the severity of the case due to the high degree of stenosis of the native mitral valve. The same was done by Dr. Gopalamuragan and Dr. Prashant at Kims Hospital in Hydrabad, India. The success of the case was due to the study and discussion between the medical team and product specialists of the company and Dr. Diego Gaia who gave all the support for the case to be executed successfully, besides the experience and technique applied during the implant.
