Braile Biomédica is among the 22 humanized companies in Brazil
On March 19 and 20, Braile Biomédica, represented by the President, Patricia Braile and the HR / Communications Manager, Carline Miglioli, was present at the "Conscious Capitalism Latin American Conference 2019", where was introduced the results of the study “Humanized Companies of Brazil”.
In the event, which was held in São Paulo, at the SENAC University Center - Campus Santo Amaro, the 22 companies considered humanized in Brazil, among the 1,115 analyzed, were presented based on three criteria: generation of financial value, sustainability and social well-being and Braile Biomédica was one of the awarded ones.
The movement generated by the research, seeks the healthy and sustainable practice in organizations in order to encourage, through examples, a conscious capitalism. The idea is to put the purpose of the company and the stakeholders first, rather than the profit, showing that in the long run this attitude generates much more positive results for the company and society as a whole. It is the search for a paradigm shift for a system that generates wealth and at the same time quality of life and dignity.
The study was conducted for the first time outside the United States, led by a group of researchers formed by Pedro Paro, founder of startup Trustin and doctoral student of USP, Mateus Gerolamo, USP professor and Rodrigo Caetano, writer, Raj Sisodia, cofounder of the Conscious Capitalism movement, professor, author of several books and lasted for 2 years. In all, 900 thousand consumer assessments, 136 thousand employee evaluations and more than 2,436 stakeholders were analyzed.
The Conscious Capitalism Latin-American Conference 2019 counted on 48 lectures that dealt with examples, exchange of experiences and practical exercises.
This attitude aims to help transform the country through the inspiration of conscious, sustainable and innovative businesses and Braile Biomédica already has its name recorded in this story.
