HEMOCONCENTRATOR
The Hemoconcentrador is made of a cylindrical polycarbonate body, with a side connector for solute drainage, which may be performed assisted by vacuum. It contains filtering polyethersulfone fibers, fixed with polyurethane resin. Closing the chamber there are two lids in polycarbonate with a luer type connector for blood inflow and outflow, which moves internally into the fiber. Each hemoconcentrator model goes along with a set of tubes, proper for its use.
The product is indicated for blood ultrafiltration to promote the removal of excess fluid during the extracorporal circulation in cardiovascular surgeries.
