Braile Biomedica at Cardiovascular Research Technologies (CRT) 2018

From March 3rd – 6th, Braile Biomédica was present, represented by Giovanni Braile Sternieri and Rafael Braile, at Cardiovascular Research Technologies (CRT) 2018 in Washington DC, USA.

Cardiovascular Research Technologies is one of the world's leading interventional cardiology conferences and this year attracted approximately 2,500 people from several countries. This event aims to share knowledge, ideas and collaborate for solutions in the medical area, in addition to enabling interaction among professionals.

On occasion, Giovanni presented the work "Optimal Mitral Valve-In-Valve Sizing and Positioning Using Braile Inovare Transcatheter Valve: In Vitro Analysis".

According to Vinicius Ladeia, Development Coordinator, "This study provides ideal situations for valve implantation in terms of positioning and oversizing that guarantee greater safety, performance and, consequently, durability of the Inovare® Valve within this specific indication."

This work has been developed by the Research, Development and Innovation team of Braile Biomédica, which is conducting an in vitro study with the Inovare® Transcatheter Valve for Mitral Valve-In-Valve (ViV).
